Lynda's Own was founded in 2004 by Lynda Bird, together with her son Wesley a fully qualified chef. They both felt there was a need for quality home cooked, healthy convenient food that consumers could purchase at a competitive and healthier alternative to take away.
All Lynda's Own meals are vacuum sealed and are designed to be stored in refrigeration for up to 14 days from purchase date. Just simply reheat in microwave for 3 - 4 minutes or heat in the oven. All heating instructions can be found on our website.
Our ingredients are all sourced locally from North East Victoria even going to the extent of hand selecting our beef for our lasagna and curries. We use hormone free chicken and even grow many of our own veggies and herbs in our own veggie garden, which is chemically and hormone free the way veggies should be. Most of our eggs are from our own free range chooks on our farm.
All our sauces are home made right from the start in our commercial kitchen, so you can easily taste the difference. From our simple tomato based concasse sauce, through to our extra popular red wine reduced jus used for our fully cooked lamb shanks in red wine jus.
